Will Fuller took a hit with his suspension but the Miami Dolphins could be a landing spot.

Will Fuller’s 2020 season is all but over after getting suspended for six games due to a PED issue. Fuller released a statement that he was taking a prescription medication that his doctor had told him was safe by NFL rules. It wasn’t. He owned it and apologized. It shouldn’t impact him too much.

Fuller has had a great season for a horrendous team. The Houston Texans are horrible even with one of the best QBs in the league. Now Fuller looks to hit free agency if the Texans don’t tag him which would be a surprise given all the changes that are about to happen.

The good: Fuller is 26 years old and is establishing himself as one of the most reliable receivers in the league. He has great speed that Miami lacks at the position and is very much like Preston Williams but with the consistency. He would be a huge upgrade to the Dolphins receiver group and a great compliment to Parker.

The bad: Fuller is expected to be pursued by the Packers who tried in vain to get him at the NFL trade deadline. The Texans should have traded him and got something in return but now they will likely lose him. In addition, Fuller is going to command a high dollar contract that should, like Robinson, easily touch the mid $80 million range.

Dolphins need: See Robinson, it hasn’t changed.
