Kansas City Chiefs OT Lucas Niang:

You can call this slide the Kansas City Chiefs slide because all three players play for the Chiefs. First up is “rookie” Lucas Niang. I say rookie because even though he was drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Niang was a COVID-19 opt-out, so this is his rookie season.

Reason from Phinside The NFL is high on Niang and pointed me in his direction. Niang will be the hardest of the three listed here to trade for, as he will cost the most and be the most likely tackle the Chiefs would want to keep.

Kansas City Chiefs OT Andrew Wylie:

Next up is Andrew Wylie. Wylie has started 35 games as a guard for the Chiefs the last three seasons, but he is competing for the starting right tackle spot in 2021. He is currently the backup there, so Miami could get a starting-caliber lineman for cheap.

Somehow, the Chiefs stacked their offensive line this offseason in like 10 seconds, so now they are loaded with depth and talent. Wylie would be a sneaky good pickup for Miami because of his versatility and ability.

Kansas City Chiefs OT Mike Remmers:

Last up is the current starting right tackle for the Chiefs, Mike Remmers.

Remmers is currently out with an injury, but the 10th year pro has started 88 career games. He started 10 games at right tackle for the Chiefs last year and did a solid job. He has played guard and left tackle as well, so he is another versatile player Miami would love.

It looks like he will win the starting right tackle job for the Chiefs, but if he somehow loses it to the other two players mentioned here, Miami should try to get him for a year to help with their right tackle issue.
