Denver Broncos RB Royce Freeman

Denver Broncos running back Royce Freeman is on this list because his current team jumped ahead of the Miami Dolphins in the second round to take running back Javonte Williams. Now, we will never know for sure if Miami was going to draft Williams, as there are mixed reports on them wanting rookie safety Jevon Holland more, but it is still fun to think about. Williams went a pick ahead of Miami and Miami ended up with Holland.

Following their careers will be a lot of fun.

That move filled the Broncos running back room even more, and the former third-round pick could be the odd man out when the rosters need to be finalized.

Freeman was a fun evaluation for me when he entered the NFL, and I was pretty high on him. I thought if he came out a year earlier, Freeman should have been a 2nd round pick. However, he waited an extra year and was still a third-round pick, so the talent is there. Freeman would improve the role Miami wants Brown to play, and he’s younger too.

Freeman is entering the last year of his contract, so it would give Miami a great opportunity to see if they can fit him in their long-term plans as well. And, calling him Rolls Royce Freeman as he punches the ball in for six would be a lot of fun, so there is that too.
