2. Miami trades a 2022 3rd round pick to the Houston Texans for Brandin Cooks

If the Miami Dolphins cannot get Calvin Ridley, I would love to see them go after Brandin Cooks. The Houston Texans wide receiver had the sixth 1,000-yard season of his career in 2021, and he also added six touchdowns.

Cooks is only 28 and would be 29 for the 2022 season. He may only have about 2-3 more years of elite play in him, but trading a 3rd round pick for him would make a ton of sense.

The Texans have not been shy about wanting to trade players, and even though Miami should trade for Deshaun Watson if he is clear of his legal situation, Cooks is another guy they need to target.

Cooks is one of the most underrated receivers in the NFL, yet he still manages to produce every single year. He has shown no signs of slowing down in the NFL, and the Dolphins would be lucky to have him to compliment Waddle.
