Upcoming free agents

The Miami Dolphins will be one of the most well-off teams when it comes to salary cap space this off season, and hopefully the new regime will spend wisely. There are loads of players that will become free agents after they play in the Super Bowl, and there are a handful of them that Miami would be smart to kick the tires on.

It is no secret that the Dolphins will be looking for veteran help on the offensive line, and Cincinnati’s Riley Reiff could be a potential target. He has struggled with injury, but could be a good depth signing at the correct price. There should also be a vacancy at backup quarterback behind Tua Tagovailoa, and Brandon Allen could be a viable option. Should Miami part ways with Mike Gesicki this spring, then bringing in tight end C.J. Ozumah could be a possibility.

As for the Rams, they have some high-profile free-agents-to-be, though signing them would come with risk. Odell Beckham Jr. is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and he could be of service to Tua Tagovailoa and company, if they were willing to accept the baggage. Miami certainly wants to get young, fresh legs in the backfield, but Sony Michel could be a consideration for running back depth.
