Phillip Lindsay

Running back Phillip Lindsay looked good in limited action after he was picked up late in the season in 2021. He took a back seat to performances from Duke Johnson who was elevated around the same time, but that didn’t stop us from seeing what Lindsay has to offer.

He runs with noticeable aggression and is a pass catching threat out of the backfield, but it is his pass blocking ability that stands out the most as the main reason to bring him back. Lindsay won’t be at the top of the depth chart, but he would be a good veteran to have for depth and perhaps third down situations.

Mack Hollins

Mack Hollins has become a fan favorite in Miami over the last couple of seasons, and his knack for the big play has been on full display as well. His numbers may not be sexy, but some of the Dolphins’ biggest catches in recent memory have landed in the hands of Hollins, and he brings an undeniable energy to an offense that has badly needed it. He excels as a special teams specialist as well.

Hollins next contract will be larger than his previous one, but it won’t be one that the Dolphins can’t afford. They’ll pursue other wide receivers, but he would make a solid 4th or 5th option on the depth chart.
