The Miami Dolphins have addressed their running back needs, to a degree. Miami is banking on Raheem Mostert to be healthy and Chase Edmonds is a good RB to have but is this all there is?

The Dolphins opted to bring back Salvon Ahmed, a cheap option but appears to have passed on Duke Johnson and Phillip Lindsay returning. Miami could create cap room by releasing Myles Gaskin but it isn’t clear if that is something in their plans down the road.

Still available in the market are a few options but no one really stands out as a player who can be the full-time featured back for Miami.

Leonard Fournette may be the best available but it is hard to imagine him not returning to the Bucs. It seems Tom Brady is building the team on his own now. Aside from Fournette, Melvin Gordon, Cordarrelle Patterson, are all options but Ronald Jones, II could be an option as well if the Dolphins want to continue to add players to the roster.

Miami isn’t likely to spend a lot on this position moving forward but they do have options if they want to. It seems they may go for another mid-round draft pick in April.
