If you have read my most recent article on the three reasons why JC Tretter in Miami is a match made in heaven, you would understand this pick. It makes sense for all parties and gives the Miami Dolphins offensive line stability and flexibility.

At 31 years old, Tretter provides Miami with a veteran presence to match with Terron Armstead on the outside for the young guys along the line to learn from. It gives the Dolphins an elite man up front giving the ball to Tua Tagovailoa every play.

It also gives a chance for Robert Hunt to become even better through development of being next to a guy like that, also allows him to shift his help more towards the side of likely Austin Jackson on his right.

I love the idea of the left side being completely locked down with Terron Armstead, Connor  Williams, and J.C. Tretter. The Miami Dolphins can worry about the right side when they have to, and have plenty of draft capital in 2023 to make any move they want. That gives them flexibility, especially along the offensive line.
