The Dolphins are 100% Tua Tagovailoa’s team now, it’s time he takes control:

While Brian Flores was the coach of the Miami Dolphins it felt like the team had a leash on Tagovailoa, not letting him do too much on the field so he wouldn’t put the ball in harm’s way. The point of throwing a young QB to the wolves is to let him learn and go through those growing pains.

For 2 years Brian Flores wanted to conservatively develop Tagovailoa while considering a possible replacement for him while trying to chase a playoff spot. In the end, Flores accomplished none of the options listed and ended up being fired from his job with the Dolphins.

Mike McDaniel brings a new identity and one of his main focuses is to bring out the hidden talent in his QB, besides putting together an absolute powerhouse of an offense (on paper) in one off-season; McDaniel is also putting his full trust on Tagovailoa to be the franchise guy for Miami.

If you’ve played sports in your life you know there is no type of morale booster that equals the feeling of confidence. With confidence a person can accomplish anything, doesn’t matter the field. And even if they don’t, you’ll know you got to see the very best of what they had to offer.

It’s safe to say that Tua Tagovailoa’s morale and confidence were absolutely crushed during his time with the Dolphins, especially this past 2021 season.

But now Tua has support from the entire Dolphins organization from the players, to coaching, to management, to ownership. Everyone is betting on Tagovailoa to take this team over the hump, but it starts with taking control of the offense.

Tagovailoa needs to assert himself as the unquestionable leader in the locker room for the offense, players that believe in their QB are willing to do anything for them. Why? Because they fully trust in their QB’s plan, no matter how smart, safe, ambitious, risky, reckless, or downright stupid it may sound in the huddle.

Because even when doubt may pop up for coaches or players, that gets quickly eliminated when they remember “insert name here is my QB.”
