Everyone can tell you how excited they are to watch this Miami Dolphins offense next year simply because the most electrifying player in football is now on it. However, this just truly feels like the playmaker this offense needed to be successful.

Like I said earlier with the speed finally being prominent within the offense, it now feels like there is a premium on veteran, proven talent rather than the cheaper young guy that you take off projections.

Tyreek Hill will not have to wait very long to have the ball in his hands. It will be in his hands early and often, and in this offense, so many other players will love having the distraction and single coverage that Tyreek Hill allows them to have.

Everyone knows the saying speed kills, but the speed in this scheme is going to be a different kind of speed. The Miami Dolphins have never had that one guy that the defense fears in quite some time. Now they do, and we get to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Tyreek Hill’s production in 2021 speaks for itself, with 111 catches for 1,239 yards and 9 touchdowns. The change in production from 2020 saw a rise of almost 25 additional catches, but a drop in yards by about 35 yards, and a drop from 15 touchdowns to 9.

However, we cannot discount what he will be on this team. People have forgotten what Tyreek Hill will bring to this offense, and that is something that needs to be revisited much more often.

So let’s get into what my expectations are from Tyreek Hill for the Miami Dolphins in 2022. I believe a stat line of 131 catches for 1,472 yards and 12 touchdowns is something very plausible for a guy of Tyreek Hill’s talent.

These are lofty goals, but I think something that is clearly within reach. With the idea behind this offense being YAC (yards after catch) I think Tyreek Hill is the biggest proponent of that. The Cheetah will be flying around Hard Rock this season.
