Week 1: New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins

The NFL’s schedule is greatly influenced by storylines, Devante Parker against his old team has been brewing up since he got traded to the Patriots. This storyline won’t stay hot for long come football season so the NFL wants it in week 1.

Mike McDaniel also gets his first dig at being a real NFL head coach vs one of the best coaches of all-time Bill Belichick.

Listen, the storyline is cool but let’s be real. Devante Parker has only been hyped by the media as this big-time pick-up because he went to the Patriots, but once Byron Jones or Xavien Howard have him on coverage it’s game over for him.

The Patriots also don’t have the firepower Miami has on offense, and they also don’t have the appropriate tools available on defense to deal with the Miami Dolphins offense.

Mike McDaniel makes a big statement at home for this game, and he’ll catch national headlines as the Miami Dolphins pummel through the New England Patriots for McDaniel’s first win as a head coach.
