Miami Dolphins potential trap game #2: Week 5 @ Jets

After the tough start to the schedule, the Dolphins will play a game in Week 5 that they’ll likely be favored in, though it will be a road contest against a familiar divisional opponent.

Miami’s schedule eases up a bit as they get into the middle stages of the season, and the first of two games against the New York Jets will kick off their streak of winnable games. But they’ll face a formidable opponent in the Vikings the following week, which likely represents the most difficult game of the stretch.

Overlooking the Jets and thinking about their showdown with Minnesota would cost the Dolphins dearly. Depending on their record after the first four weeks, the game in New York will either be the exclamation point on a powerful start or the rock bottom of yet another season thrown away by a slow start.

But either way, it would be in the Dolphins best interest not to overlook the Jets, no matter how void of victories they may be when Week 5 rolls around.
