Former Miami Dolphins players that they’ll see in 2022:

Steelers: Minkah Fitzpatrick and Brian Flores

It may not be one of the more marquee games on the schedule for the Miami Dolphins, but there will be a lot of calendar circling done when it comes to their Week 7 matchup with the Steelers.

Not only will it be Miami’s first Sunday Night Football game since 2017 (and 4th since 2006), but there will be a few familiar faces on the opposing sideline. Minkah Fitzpatrick has turned into one of the premiere safeties in the NFL while playing for Pittsburgh after forcing his way out of Miami after his rookie season.

Ironically enough, it is one of his new coaches that was a driving force in trading him to the Steelers. Brian Flores joins the coaching staff on the Pittsburgh defense after being jettisoned by Miami by way of a rocky breakup.

Bad blood still remains as the lawsuit put forth by the coach is still being investigated. There have also been stories exposed since his departure about his treatment of players and relationships with other employees in the building, ones that paint him in a negative light.

Both teams will be counting down the days to this match up.
