Miami Dolphins fantasy sleeper #2: Raheem Mostert

You shouldn’t be valuing any Miami Dolphins running back as a high-round draft pick. In fact, Chase Edmonds may be the only one you see selected, and that might not be until opposing teams are filling out their benches.

Given his injury history, it would be hard to justify using a valuable draft pick on Raheem Mostert. He has appeared in just nine games over the last two seasons, and has provided little to no value to the people unfortunate enough to use a roster spot on him.

But he is certainly someone to keep an eye on as a waiver wire guy. There are a lot of questions surrounding the Dolphins’ backfield as far as the distribution of carries, and we could learn a lot within the first few weeks. If Mostert is one of the regular running backs, and his health is of no concern, then he may be worth the pickup.

Mostert has been clocked as one of the fastest players in the NFL over the last few seasons, and has a productive season (2019) under his belt, making him a sleeper candidate if Miami’s running game is one of the better attacks in the league.
