Last Year’s Results and This Year’s Outlook:

There have been very few seasons in NFL history that were more of a roller coaster than the 2021 Miami Dolphins season. In what would end up being head coach Brian Flores’ final year at the helm, the team was a massive disappointment during the first half of the season, as Miami lost seven in a row after edging out a victory in Week 1. The most embarrassing of them all was the loss that resulted in Urban Meyer’s first victory as an NFL head coach and the Jaguars’ first win in a record 20 games.

But things turned around in the second half of the year, and the Dolphins became the first team to have seven-game winning and losing streaks in the same season. Their impressive run led them to have control of their own playoff destiny but choked it away in the final weeks for the second year in a row.

There is of course a new coaching regime in town and a slew of new tools and weapons that could help push the team to the next level and qualify for the postseason.
