Miami Dolphins to make Top 100 in 2023: Jevon Holland

Barring some kind of freak injury or unforeseen setback, it is almost a foregone conclusion that Jevon Holland will wind up on the NFL’s Top 100 list, and it could happen sooner rather than later.

While he didn’t make the list for 2022, Holland gained the respect of his peers during his rookie season. The safety put together a highlight reel season, showing off not only his ball-hawking skills and hard hitting ability, but his incredible field range and knack for getting after the quarterback on DB blitzes. He along with Brandon Jones created one of the better safety tandems in the league during the latter part of 2021, with much of the credit going to Holland.

What does he have to do to earn a spot on next year’s list? Not much more than he did in 2021, but of course with some noticeable progression. His statistics from a year ago were impressive enough to warrant some consideration, but he is just too young and possibly unproven to be voted in to the elite club by his peers.

But another year of being one of the best young safeties in the game should be enough to get Holland a spot in 2023. And he may even become the best player in the Dolphins secondary before we know it.
