Miami Dolphins Week 1 Bold Predictions:

Tyreek Hill doesn’t score a touchdown, but Waddle scores twice

Of all the acquisitions by the Miami Dolphins this past off-season, there is no arrival that has been met with more fanfare (and criticism) than that of Tyreek Hill, and for good reason. Hill is one of the most explosive players in the league, and has game-changing ability that the Dolphins hope will translate to success on the field.

But will he be changing the game against the Patriots? Perhaps, but not with any direct contributions to the scoring column, according to this bold prediction.

Hill is widely projected to finish the year with somewhere around 7 to 8 touchdowns, which seems about correct. But he won’t be finding pay dirt this Sunday. He’ll have big catches that extend drives, and the excitement inside Hard Rock Stadium will be felt all the way in Pompano Beach.

But it will be Jaylen Waddle who finds himself in the scoring column. Hill will likely finish the game with more yards and perhaps more highlight reel plays that pundits and talking heads have been waiting all summer for. But it will instead be Waddle who we see get into the end zone, and maybe even twice, giving him a solid start to his sophomore campaign.
