Nick Chubb will be the Miami Dolphins biggest threat to their defense.

Miami’s defense is doing well this year against running backs, it’s quarterbacks they can’t seem to stop. While Brissett may not be a big concern running the ball, Chubb absolutely is. And when he doesn’t run it, Kareem Hunt does and the tandem can wear a defensive front down quickly.

Chubb has 841 yards rushing this year, good enough for 2nd in the NFL behind Derrick Henry. He has league-leading 10 rushing touchdowns and 9 runs over 20 yards.

Miami’s interior defensive linemen are going to need a big game to keep Chubb from bouncing outside so tackles at the point of contact will be important when either runner hits the guard/center or guard/tackle gaps. If the Dolphins can contain the runners, they will force Brissett to win the game with his arm.

Chubb isn’t a big threat in the passing game, often used to block in passing situations, Chubb only averages about 1.5 receptions a game. Hunt should be better in the passing game but so far this year, he is only averaging around 3 targets per game. The threat on Sunday will come on their legs and not through the air.
