Tua Tagovailoa is the single biggest question mark on offense and he may even trump the Miami Dolphins offensive line.

Health has become an issue for Tagovailoa and that should be an issue that the Dolphins must recognize as well. Tua is going to work this off-season on how he lands on the ground in an attempt to avoid potential concussions.

He also needs to work on his footwork, he needs to work on his tertiary reads, and he needs to get out of his own head at times. Tua is a good quarterback and during a stretch this past year he was the best in the league but he was also horrible at times.

In games that the Dolphins should have won, Tua was electric but he folded on the west coast and that can not happen in 2023 as the Dolphins will have the 2nd toughest schedule in the league.

Miami needs a backup plan in case Tua goes down and misses time but that could prove to be expensive. With Tua, Miami is a hot football team most of the time and if he continues to grow in this system, the Dolphins offense could be deadly.

Trending in the right direction? 2023 will be the first of Tua’s NFL career with the same offensive system and coaches for two years in a row.
