3 free agent corners who can replace Miami Dolphins Byron Jones
By Wesley Minke
This one comes as you would expect with a lofty price tag, but in this day and age, with the amount of talent the Miami Dolphins have on both sides of the ball, it is a move you need to make.
According to Spotrac, Bradberry’s market value is right around $15.1 million per year, and with him being 30 years old by the start of next season, I expect a 3-4 year deal would make sense.
The odds Miami can wiggle around the salary cap situation and swoop in and grab Bradberry is never a high chance. However, with the pull that new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio I won’t rule anything out of the realm of possibilities.
Bradberry and Xavien Howard would form one of the best 1-2 corner duos in the league. If you pair that with budding great safeties Jevon Holland and Brandon Jones, suddenly this Miami secondary becomes top 5.
I think Miami will poke around and see if there is interest, but I expect this need to be both filled in the draft and allow this team to get healthy before running it back with a similar unit to last season.
Which leads to the next idea. If the Dolphins were looking to add a veteran on a small contract who can still be super effective who should they bring in?
