The best fit for the Miami Dolphins at left guard comes in off a career year in Denver.

Dalton Risner should 100% be the top target on the offensive line for the Miami Dolphins this off-season. He would be cost-effective and he is one of the best young guards in the league.

He would be a nice scheme fit as well in Miami following his former offensive line coach Butch Barry. He makes a lot of sense given the heavy run-and-play action that the Miami Dolphins run.

Dalton Risner is very good in the pass protection game and mixing him and Terron Armstead would be a good fit along the left side and would be one of the better duos in the league.

I think the most important thing to remember about Dalton Risner is going to be his age. He is only going to be 28 years old at the beginning of next season and that may inflate his price slightly.

He will still be affordable for the Miami Dolphins and they should have no issues trying to bring him aboard, however, we don’t know what his thoughts are.

He garners a lot of respect in that Denver Broncos locker room and is considered a leader, but would he be willing to leave what they are building to come to join a contender in Miami?

If I was the Miami Dolphins front office I would offer $8.4 million per year on a 3-year deal.
