Miami Dolphins Fans Unite For Metlife Takeover

The Miami Dolphins and the NFL’s 2015 season is still a couple of months away but while we are all sitting around waiting for the games to start, the folks up at DolfansNYC are getting prepared. Literally. The 2015 MetLife Takeover is officially open for registration.

Registration? Really? Well yes actually you need to get registered in order to get tickets for the event. The game will take place over Thanksgiving weekend and you will need to get on the list with the NYC group to make sure you get a spot for this years event.
Wait, let me back up a minute. Do you even know what Metlife Takeover is? You should. 2015 will mark the DolfansNYC 4th event. It started out with a bunch of fans from the NYC area but has ballooned into something amazing. Metlife Takeover as it is now called saw the NYC group break the record for most tickets purchased by an opponent only two years ago. Last years event saw the group fill almost two upper deck sections with Dolphins fans.
The group is so large and so loud that you can hear them cheer during the games telecast. It’s so big that the announcers last year referenced the sea of aqua and orange during the game. It’s so loud and so big that players have recognized the group, the owner has appeared at their tailgate party as has other former players and executives, and has caught the attention of the teams coaches as well. In other words, yeah it’s big.
Now you can go. You don’t have to live in NYC or even be a part of their group but you do need to get your name on that list.
