Miami Dolphins Top Players By Position
By Brian Miller
The Miami Dolphins are slowly encroaching on the dreaded off-season where players leave Miami, OTA’s and min-camps are done, and the start of training camp is a distant date on the calendar. The draft is over and the players have their play books. They will be tasked with learning them now during this weeks OTA’s and then on their own. Each position will need to work together as one unit but each position doesn’t necessarily mean that every player will be the one to step up.

Who will be the players that step up and make the biggest difference in 2015? Who will emerge as the best player on each positional unit? Here is a look at each of those units and who I believe will be the most important piece of that unit.

It goes without saying that the Miami Dolphins will only go as far as Ryan Tannehill will take them. He has improved considerably each of his first three seasons and there is no reason to believe that he won’t continue that improvement in his 4th season. For Tannehill, making the right decisions is imperative to his continued development and once again he needs to work on the accuracy of his passing beyond 20 yards downfield. He has improved in the red-zone and key additions to TE and WR should give him much better targets than he has had in the past. This could very well be the best season Tannehill has had in his career, the talent around him at the skill positions is surely better. Which also means he has no excuses either.
