Miami Dolphins losing to Washington at the half
By Brian Miller
The excitement surrounding the Miami Dolphins 2015 season may be a bit tempered as the firs half has come to a close with the Dolphins finding themselves not only losing on the scoreboard but losing on the field as well. The vaunted Dolphins defense has been non-existent and the offense looks more like they are in pre-season mode than mid-season form. Washington is leading the Dolphins 10-7 at the half.

The Dolphins new look defensive line was shown up by the Washington Redskins rushing attack who attacked the Dolphins with power running and then supplementing their strong rushing attack with well timed and protected pass plays. Even when the Redskins have made a mistake the Dolphins have been unable to capitalize.
Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins threw an interception deep in his own territory but the Dolphins were unable to move the ball. Joe Philbin opted to go for the first on 4th down and 1.5 but lost a half of yard on the play that say Damien Williams name called.
Thus far the Redskins are the one controlling every aspect of the game and are making the Dolphins look very pedestrian. The exact thing that everyone in the media believed the Dolphins would do to the Redskins. After the Redskins took a 10-0 lead the Dolphins drove the length of the field on the ensuing drive and brought the game to within three.
The Drive saw the Dolphins highlight the tight end position where Jordan Cameron was integral on the series. The series ended with a Ryan Tannehill to Rishard Matthews touchdown.
INJURIES: Olivier Vernon was injured in the first quarter but returned. Dion Sims was injured on a pass into the end zone and appeared to have landed on his head. He was carted off the field but he was awake and not in a neck brace or backboard, indicating a probable concussion.
