The Miami Dolphins might find themselves without left tackle Branden Albert who is still nursing a hamstring injury suffered last week against the Jaguars. Albert did not participate in practice this week and his availability for this weeks game is in question.

Albert is one of three key players who were injured last week and the team also lost Cameron Wake for most of the Jaguars game as well. Albert may be the most important loss to the offense this week and if he is it comes at a time when the Dolphins are going to need the best offensive line they can get.

The Buffalo Bills are very stout on the defensive line and it will either be Jerry Hughes or Mario Williams who will face off against his back-up Jason Fox. Fox has not looked good in his two weeks thus far. Facing the task of stopping two of the Bill’s top edge rushers will be no easy task for either Fox or Ja’Wuan James who is coming off one of his worst games as a pro.

Fox however will be protecting the Ryan Tannehill blind side and the Bills will likely use a lot of upfield rush to keep Tannehill from making plays. Fox will have a daunting challenge ahead of him.

While Albert will not likely be a game time decision, it looks as though the team will have Lamar Miller and tight end Jordan Cameron on the field. Both players sustained injuries last weekend but both have returned to the practice field. The Dolphins need Cameron to be the seam threat they envisioned and when he is on the field, Miami needs to use him often. Miller will be facing a brutal defensive front and thus far the Dolphins offensive line has yet to really open up lanes for him to run through.

The Dolphins will need a strong game from Cam Wake as well. Injured since week one, Wake missed all but 13 plays against the Jaguars and the Dolphins severely lacked a pass rush from the right side of the line. Wake will be a major key to stopping the Bills offense. Aside from pressuring the quarterback, the Bills like to run LeSean McCoy off tackle and into the flats where Wake will be responsible for containment.

The Dolphins escaped training camp with no serious injuries but it’s becoming apparent that the minor nagging injuries are starting to accumulate.
