Dolphins not only one playing Sunday: NFL week 10
By Brian Miller
The Miami Dolphins will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday but they are not the only ones playing this weekend. On Thursday the Jaguars beat the Titans in a quite boring game. What will this weekend have in store for fans?

Sunday will kick-off at 1:00 with a slew of games followed by the afternoon, Sunday night, and Monday night games. Who’s going to win this weekend that features a bunch of back-ups thrust into starting roles. Here is a look at this weeks match-ups and how I think the games will turn out.
Dallas @ Miami
The Dolphins come into the game with four wins and five losses but have won three of five since Dan Campbell took over for Joe Philbin. The Dolphins had a moral if not physical victory last Sunday against the Eagles. The Cowboys will get Tony Romo back on Sunday but will he be able to reverse the 2-7 Cowboys? Neither team has much momentum but the Dolphins do get home field advantage. Such that it is.

Indianapolis @ Atlanta
The Colts are without Andrew Luck but they have won with Matt Hasselbeck. The Falcons started off strong and have fizzled quickly. Matt Ryan needs to get on track and the Colts defense isn’t that strong.
Falcons 32 – Colts 21
St. Louis @ Baltimore
Will the real Rams please show up? A stellar defense wasn’t good enough last week and the Rams offense is struggling so much that Nick Foles won’t start. The Ravens are mindboggling right now so it’s really anyone’s guess as to who will win. With the Ravens lack of receivers, it’s going to be a long day.
Rams 24 – Ravens 13
Washington @ Carolina
The Redskins played great against the Saints and in reality have played strong all year long. The Panthers are undefeated and getting better. While I don’t think the Panthers will come much closer to perfection, it won’t happen this week.
Panthers 34 – Redskins 24
Denver @ Chicago
Peyton Manning won’t make the trip so Brock Osweiler will start. Chicago struggles on both sides of the ball with consistency and the Broncos have been embarrassing the last two weeks. Oz will do enough and the Broncos defense will wake up.
Broncos 24 – Bears 14
Oakland @ Detroit
The Raiders are suddenly relevant and the Lions have recessed back to their old ways. The Lions can’t stop the run and struggle against the pass. The Raiders are good in both areas setting up a defensive game for the Raiders. Stopping an on again off again Lions offense will decide the game.
Raiders 27 Lions 17
NY Jets @ Houston
Houston has a problem. Brian Hoyer will miss this weeks game giving T.J Yates the start. Scary. The Jets have a very good defense but nothing like what was expected. Ryan Fitzpatrick is doing enough to keep the team alive and winning but Houston knocked off the Bengals last week. Will they beat the Jets?
Jets 24 Houston 10
Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia
The Bucanneers are playing o.k the Eagles are playing o.k. too. Sam Bradford will take a seat this week and will be without running back Ryan Matthews. It’s going to be a long day. For the viewer.
Buc’s 17 Eagles 10
K.C. @ San Diego
Neither team is living up to expectations this season but the Chargers are really banged up. The Chiefs have Alex Smith at quarterback. Let’s call it even. O.k. let’s not the Chargers still have Phillip Rivers.
Chargers 31 – Chiefs 20
Green Bay @ Minnessota
The Vikings have not played poorly lately and Adrian Peterson is still running like he was the best back in the league. Green Bay has lost three in a row including a loss to the Lions. Aaron Rodgers is banged up but will play. It’s enough.
Packers 27 Vikings 23
San Francisco @ Seattle
Does either team really want to win? Doesn’t seem like it. The Seahawks are a shell of last years Super Bowl team and the 49’ers have lost their swagger since Jim Harbaugh left.
Seahawks 23 49’ers 13
Cincinnati @ Arizona
The Bengals underestimated the Texans last week and were handed their first loss of the season. The Cardinals want the NFC West for themselves and are playing like a top NFL football team. Good thing the Bengals lost last week, they won’t be as surprised this week.
Cardinal 34 Bengals 20
Buffalo @ New England
Rex Ryan couldn’t rally his Orchard Park crowd around the team the last time the two teams met. They say the have a plan this week. They said the same thing the first time. Same results on the horizon.
