NFL week 13 predictions
By Brian Miller
The NFL is inching closer to the post-season and conclusion of the regular season and today we look at the week 13 match-ups with our predictions.
More from Dolphins News
- Tua Tagovailoa practicing with teammates is everything a leader does
- 4 offensive tackles Miami Dolphins could draft at 51
- Miami Dolphins don’t need CB help but these 5 could be available at 51
- 4 players that could replace Wilkins if Miami Dolphins don’t re-sign him
- Miami Dolphins have a starting point with Wilkins after Simmons deal
Miami will host the Baltimore Ravens in the first of a two game homestand. Miami plays four of their last five games at home to finish the season. Both teams come into the game at 4-7 which is better than my record from last week when I went 3 and 10 excluding the Thursday games. Which makes me laugh that it’s barely been over a week since Thanksgiving.
I am sure that this week will see a marked turnaround in my efforts. Thanks to a hail-mary from Aaron Rodgers I enter the weekend 1-0! Here is a look at this weekends and Monday’s games.
Ravens @ Dolphins
Miami is banged up but the Ravens are banged up too. Surely the Dolphins will rally behind new play caller Zac Taylor right? Afterall the team rallied when they fired Joe Philbin and Kevin Coyle. With Bill Lazor gone, the Dolphins post 30.
Miami 34 – Ravens 22
Jets @ Giants
The Jets still haven’t had their late season implosion yet. The Giants typically rally late in the season but fell last week to Washington making the race in the NFC West a close one. Today’s NY vs. NY gem will be a good game to watch.
Giants 28 – Jets 24
Cardinals @ Rams
This was supposed to be the two best defenses going head to head but St. Louis’ defense has struggled lately. Arizona’s hasn’t.
Cardinals 24 – Rams 13
Falcons @ Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are actually starting to look like they are heading in the right direction. The Falcons are not but with the return of DeVante Freeman today, everything could change.
Falcons 24 – Tampa Bay 20
Seahawks @ Vikings
The Vikings boast one of the best defenses in the league and Seattle doesn’t really have the same great offense they have the last few seasons. The Seahawk defense is still pretty good too.
Seahawks 28 – Vikings 24
49’ers @ Bears
The 49’ers are a bad football team. The Bears are marginally better.
Bears 24 – 49’ers 12
Jaguars @ Titans
What looked like a game that should be buried on the regular season schedule turns out to maybe being one of the better games of the week. No playoffs are on the line but these are two teams playing fun football and that’s fun to watch.
Jaguars 26 – Titans 25
Texans @ Bills
The Bills are falling fast and Texas is rising. It continues this week.
Texans 27 – Bills 25
Bengals @ Browns
The Browns lost a heartbreaker on Monday night. Luckily for their fans, they won’t have to endure two in a row.
Bengals 37 – Browns 20
Chiefs @ Raiders
This could be the game of the day. The Raiders are trying to get back to winning strong and the Chiefs have found a way to start winning on both sides of the ball. Should be a good one in the afternoon.
Chiefs 32 – Raiders 27
Broncos @ Chargers
Who would have thought Brock Osweiler would knock off Tom Brady and the undefeated Patriots? Phillip Rivers? Yeah no problem.
Broncos – 30 – Chargers 21
Eagles @ Patriots
A week ago I would have cared about this game but now I realize the Patriots have lost one and that’s what matters with the Dolphins so far out of the division. The Patriots are a little miffed today.
Patriots 48 – Eagles 26
Panthers @ Saints
A lot of people are saying that the Saints may hand the Panthers their first loss of the season. I think the two match-up well against each other and the Saints gave them a tough run earlier in the season.
Saints 36 – Panthers 34
Colts @ Steelers
Matt Hasselbeck keeps winning. He won’t today.
Steelers 34 – Colts 24
Cowboys @ Redskins
The Redskins want the NFC East. The Cowboys just want the season to end.
Washington 32 – Dallas 20
