  1. New York Giants

DeForest Buckner – DE – Oregon

Not many think Buckner lasts this long in the draft, but if everyone drafts by glaring needs than it could happen.

And if he does make it all the way to the Giants than he’s headed to New Jersey…or New York…wherever he’d prefer to stay while playing for the G-men. New York’s pass rush was terrible last season with the team totaling 23 sacks, nine of which came from 30-year-old Robert Ayers.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Buckner can provide that quarterback pressure while his dominant run stuffing skills will help improve the 24th ranked rushing defense.

The pass rush is the most glaring need for the Giants. However, should they go crazy and want to address another hole, the offensive line could use some upgrading making Decker and Conklin options here. Meanwhile, they need a good ground game to balance Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. This is very high in the draft to consider a running back, but should Ezekiel Elliott impress at the combine he may just be the rusher New York wants.
