Connor Cook – QB – Michigan State

Freshly ripped away from St. Louis, the Rams will want to make a splashy pick at No. 15 and their biggest need is at quarterback – the position we all love to talk about.

With Goff and Lynch off the board, the Rams will have to reach for Connor Cook. He has the size and tools to be a good quarterback, and his rating stats at Michigan State were through the roof. But he was fairly inconsistent in his senior year tossing a few sub-200 yard games and putting up some dreadful completion numbers (46.2 percent against Michigan, 30 percent vs. Maryland, 48.7 percent in the playoffs vs. Alabama).

The other crucial needs for the Rams are corner and wideout. With the 15th pick, it may be a stretch to go for either one of those other positions so it becomes a matter of who is less of a reach: Cook, Michael Thomas or Eli Apple? Since the Rams are in dire need of an attention-grabbing pick with their new locale, quarterback it is.
