The Miami Dolphins will have to wait another 11 picks before they get to select their second player from this draft class. Plenty of players have falled into round two leaving the Dolphins some solid options heading into the 2nd round.

More from Dolphins News

The Dolphins got a steal of a draft pick, at least on paper, in round one when left tackle Laremy Tunsil dropped out of the top 10 and into pick 13. Miami may have addressed the offensive line in round one but they still have a lot of work ahead of them on day two when they will select in round two and three.

The Dolphins needs remain the same. Linebacker, corner back, running back, and edge rusher. Here are 11 players that fit Miami’s needs that could be on the board when the Dolphins select.

Myles Jack – Jack has fallen out of round one amid concerns over his knee. Jack was believed to be the Dolphins choice at 13 had he fallen but the Dolphins were surprised to see Tunsil fall. If Jack can fall a little further the Dolphins may see fit to move up a few spots to get him. Dallas and Jacksonville however are considered top landing spots for him.

Emmanuel Ogbah – The big and talented DE is still on the board as expected and would provide the Dolphins a solid option to back-up Mario Williams and Cameron Wake for a year while spelling both.

Reggie Ragland – the linebacker was slated to be a late first rounder and now appears to be counting the picks before his name is called in round two. It’s unlikley he falls to Miami at 11 but you never know.

Kevin Dodd – The Clemson defensive end was expected to go in the middle of the first and is still on the board entering day two.

Mackensie Alexander – One glaring need that the Dolphins have is at corner and while players like Artie Burns didn’t fall into round two, Alexander did and could be an option for Miami at 11.

Noah Spence – some scouts had Spence as a mid-round first defensive end while others had him listed as a late first-second rounder. The Dolphins could look at him at 11 if he his still there.

Xavien Howard – Howard is an interesting corner that could be had at number 11 but the Dolphins may find him available later in round two should they decide to trade down.

Kendall Fuller – Fuller had a medical issue at the Combine but recent medical rechecks have him cleared. With the Dolphins needing corner help, Fuller’s name should be monitored.

Jarran Reed – This Alabama defensive tackle is one of the top DT’s in this years draft. While Miami doesn’t have a clear need here, adding a DT would help bolster the roster and Reed would immediately challenge Mitchell and Jordan Phillips from day one.

A’Shaun Robinson – Another top run stopping defensive tackle that could be worth a look for the Dolphins.

Derrick Henry – The Dolphins will not likely look at running back in round two with the other needs they have but Henry is the 2nd best runner in this draft and could be in play at the 42nd pick.
