FanSided releases their Fandom 250 and the Miami Dolphins are not on it

The Miami Dolphins do not make the list of the 250 most popular items in sports, entertainment, music, and whatever else they decided to throw into the pot before they stirred it up.
It’s easy to get that the Dolphins are not the most popular franchise in the NFL, that apparently belongs to Green Bay but then again, Green Bay Packer fans are everywhere. This list of 250 is an annual misprint by the network that bore this site some 11 years ago or so.
I get it, it’s subjective and I don’t want to be negative towards the list as there are obvious names on the list that make sense. I mean yes, The Beatles are more popular than the Miami Dolphins on this list the Fab Four only come in at 174. There are a lot of names on this list that honestly, I have no clue who they are. St. Croix? Sorry La Croix…whatever.
Shania Twain is on this list and hasn’t been relevant since the mid 1990’s. So why are the Dolphins fans or even the team not on this list? Apparently they have yet to beat out Ashton Kutcher. Does he do anything anymore at all?
The Miami Dolphins are still popular and the fan base is embraced from coast to coast and all over the world. Apparently whomever made this list has no clue about MetLife Takeover or DolfansNYC, or the fan clubs in Mexico, Brazil, England, Italy, Japan, and Australia. But hey, good for Lin-Manuel Miranda.
What this list tells us is that it is comprised from the Social Media generation because I can tell you all of us “old-farts” could care less about M&M or is it Eminem? Beats me.

In the rankings of the NFL teams, they listed the top 16 and the Dolphins are not on that list either. Buried somewhere behind the Redskins, Falcons, and Bills. Guess they didn’t factor into the equation the fact that in Buffalo there is nothing else to do.
There are some intriguing names on the list such as Game of Thrones coming in at number two behind the Ohio State Buckeyes. So I guess there is that. Truth be told, the Dolphins won’t win popularity contests because they have it the best out of the entire NFL. They have the hot women, the hot men, the South Florida sun and sand, and they also have the 1972 undefeated season which apparently just irks everyone…or rather all these “social media” gen-x-millenials were simply not even a thought back then.
