The Dolphins have until the start of free agency at 4:00 pm Wednesday to make decisions on some of those players but the majority are expected to test the market when it opens to start the league new year.
Miami has already added wide-receiver Albert Wilson. That transaction won’t become official until Wednesday afternoon.
In regards to Suh, the Dolphins will designate him a June 1 release. They will carry his full contract on their roster until June 1 and then will receive $17 million in open cap space. It won’t help Miami in free agency but will help as the season approaches and can be carried over into 2019 if it is unused.
