Quarter 1:

The Miami Dolphins deferred the kickoff and as I mentioned last week it would seem they would want the ball with the hopes of scoring first if indeed their defense is built to play with a lead.

Robert Quinn nearly sacked Carr on the fist down making his pass errant but the second pass was for 61 yards then the next was a TD pass back to Nelson again. He looked to be wide open with no one covering him. How does that happen on a WR that just got a 61 yard pass?

After the offense went three and out. The defense let Jordy Nelson scamper for a second pass completion of over 60 yards. But the red zone/goal line defense held on runs from the Raiders that didn’t include Marshawn Lynch and they turned it over on downs.

The offense wasn’t moving it out the end zone with runs to Frank Gore then Ryan Tannehill had to run it for the first down. The passing game almost got in gear going to Kenny Stills but the drive failed.

On the first play Carr threw it deep and Xavien Howard intercepted it and returned it for 39 yards. But the offense couldn’t get it in gear resulting in a slow start this game.
