The Miami Dolphins need to hire a M.A.S.H. unit to sit outside Davie, Fl. Another crop of injuries have the Dolphins needing a lot of help.

The Miami Dolphins started the day without Laremy Tunsil and Ja’Wuan James. The good news is no one else got injured along the offensive line. The bad news is it was once again the receivers turn to get hurt.

The Dolphins lost Jakeem Grant in the 2nd half and frankly there is little doubt that his season will be over. Grant came off the snap and immediately began to hop on his right leg. He made it across the field before collapsing to the turf and pounding his fist into the field at Lambeau.

While there is no confirmation the expression and disgust displayed by Grant and the cart taking him to the locker is almost all the confirmation you need that this is an Achille’s injury and his season will be announced as over tomorrow.

On the very next play DeVante Parker went down with what was described as a shoulder injury. Which likely means Parker will be out at least four weeks. O.k. that is more tongue in cheek than known reality but Parker’s inability to come back from any type of injury is well documented. He did not return on Sunday.

Surprisingly Brock Osweiler who was sacked six times was not injured. Osweiler looked like a statue late in the game. Statistically he didn’t have an average game 23/37 for 213 yards and an interception. The real problem for the Dolphins however was their red-zone attempts.

The Dolphins opened the game with a deep drive into the Packer red-zone but a bad snap turned the ball over to the Packers. Miami would make the red-zone four times in their first four drives but settle on field goals. It’s a growing problem for the Dolphins.

On defense the Dolphins had their moments but in the end their inability to stop the run was their undoing. The Packers were able to run the ball almost at will for most of the game with Aaron Jones rushing for 145 and two touchdowns.

The loss puts Miami back at .500 as they head into their bye week which will hopefully get some of their players healthy. They will likely be looking at a receiver or two on the free agent market and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Isaiah Ford activated at some point in the next week. That is if Grant’s injury is indeed season ending.
