The NFL is half-way through week 10 and the Miami Dolphins are already winning 3-0 in Indianapolis, but the early games were surprising.

As the NFL moved on from the morning games into the late afternoon games plenty of surprises showed up on the scoreboard. As they say, “Any given Sunday”, indeed.

With Dolphins fans scoreboard watching for draft slotting and early first-round competition for a quarterback, the Dolphins fans were treated to some intriguing conclusions while the NFL itself witnessed some mild shocking surprises.

Atlanta at New Orleans was supposed to be a route but today, the route was by the Falcons who held one of the best NFL offenses to a mind-boggling 9 points as the Falcons gained only their second win of the season, 26-9.

The New York Jets and the New York Giants squared off in a home vs. home type game with the Jets nabbing their 2nd victory of the season. The game was a barn burner for two of the worst teams in the league as both teams nearly put up 30 points with the Jets winning 34-27.

The Cleveland Browns managed to get to their third win of the season after the Buffalo Bills kicker missed a game-tying field goal with seconds left in the game. The final score 19-16 gives the Bills their third loss and for all intent and purposes puts them out of reach of the Patriots for the AFC East. The Bills needed to pick up a game with the Patriots on a bye-week.

In Chicago, the Matt Stafford’less Lions couldn’t do much and the Bears who have not looked good most of the season earned their fourth win of the season. While it doesn’t have any direct effect on the Dolphins, many believed that the Lions would easily take care of the Bears but with Stafford out, they couldn’t do anything on offense.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the day came in Tennessee where Ryan Tannehill led Titans upset the Kansas City Chiefs and Pat Mahomes. The Chiefs took a late lead with under two minutes left in the game. Tannehill took the final drive on his shoulders and drove his team into the endzone for a game-winning drive.

The Chiefs would attempt a game-tying field goal with three seconds left but the Titans would block the attempt. It was the third comeback this year for the former Miami Dolphins starting quarterback.

Unfortunately, the Baltimore Ravens continued to dominate and kept the Bengals winless for another week.
