Round 3, Pick 5

Having taken care of the left side of the line, this early pick in round three can be used to address the right side of the line.  OT Calvin Throckmorton, University of Oregon, has experience playing center, right guard and right tackle.

Throckmorton would probably best fit at right tackle; depending on how the Brian Flores feels about current starter Jesse Davis.

Round 4, Pick 38

Even with the selection of Adebo in round 2, and the return of current starter Xavien Howard, the Dolphins could still use help at the cornerback position.

CB Julian Blackmon, from Utah, will probably be gone by round four, he was available in this scenario and was too good to pass up.  While his teammate gets all the fanfare, Blackmon is just as good; having racked up 8 INTs in the last three years.  His addition would give the Dolphins three cornerbacks over 6’1″ and allow the Dolphins to turn a weakness into a strength going into 2020.
