As we shift focus to the interior defensive line we return to the trenches that started the whole list. Over the last ten years, the Dolphins have had some decent defensive tackles and some really good ones.

While we wait to see if Davon Godchaux will take the next big step in his career and we also wait to see if Christian Wilkins can become a dominant interior defender, the list of our top defensive tackles is actually quite easy to decide.

Randy Starks: Starks played for the Dolphins from 2008 until 2014. He was an unmovable force in the middle and made two Pro Bowl’s in his time with the Dolphins. He had previously played for the Titans and finished his NFL career in 2015 with the Browns. Pairing hi with our number two defensive lineman would have been a major force in the NFL.

Ndamukong Suh: We can say what we want about his attitude or his lack of locker room leadership but there was no question that in the short time Suh was here, he was disruptive. Unfortunately, the Dolphins lacked the quality at linebacker that would have benefited from what Suh could do on the line.
