Number 2

Jonathan Martin: 2012 NFL Draft, Round 2, Pick 42. Career Stats: 23 G, 23 GS

When Martin was selected by the Dolphins in the second round in 2012, I, for one, thought he would be a steal for the team. After helping Andrew Luck dominate in the Pac 12, he looked like a quality player who just happened to fall in the draft. He ended up starting all 16 games in 2012 and did not play as well as expected.

In 2013, he started 7 games at left tackle and, again, was underwhelming. Then Richie Incognito happened. Dolphins fans should remember the Martin/Incognito scandal and how it ravaged what could have been a decent offensive line. By the time the dust settled, Incognito was gone and the relationship between the Dolphins and Martin was ruined. Martin eventually was traded to the San Francisco 49ers for a 7th round pick where his career slowly declined into nothing.
