It is never too early to do a 2021 NFL mock draft, so we are

16th overall selection – Jacksonville Jaguars – Trey Smith – -T – Tennessee

The Jags got their Quarterback, now they have to protect him at all cost.  Smith could be a top ten selection if he didn’t have any injury concerns.

17th overall selection – Chicago Bears – DeVonta Smith – WR – Alabama

I think the Bears pick is difficult to project.  They could go in a lot of different ways, but with all the success of Tryreek Hill, I think the Bears offense needs an injection of speed on the outside.

18th overall selection – Minnesota Vikings – Israel Mukuamu – CB – South Carolina

Mike Zimmer loves big corners and Israel fits the build at 6-4 and had an amazing sophomore season.

19th overall selection – Indianapolis Colts – Brevin Jordan – TE – Miami

If Rivers is still the starting quarterback for the Colts this pick makes a lot of sense.  Jordan is next great tight end coming out of Miami and the hype is real.  Pairing Jordan with River is kinda like Rivers and Gates, but with more speed.

20th overall selection – Tennessee Titans – Shaun Wade – CB – Ohio State

The Titans need to fix their depth at the cornerback position and Wade is reportedly moving outside this year to replace Jeff Okudah.  If he puts numbers similar to Jeff, look for Wade to jump up the board.

21st overall selection  – New England Patriots – Kellen Mond – QB – Texas A&M

First, I don’t think the Patriots will be picking this late, but based on this draft ranking, let’s say Billy boy brings them here.  The Patriots have to make a move to replace Brady, is Mond the answer? No idea, but he’s the best QB left on the board.

22nd overall selection – Seattle Seahawks – Dylan Moses – LB – Alabama

The Hawks always find great roaming sideline to sideline linebackers, if Moses falls to them here, it’s a steal.

23rd overall selection – Philadelphia Eagles –  Seth Williams – WR – Auburn

I’m not sure who will line up at Wide Receiver in 2020 for the Eagles, they need to replace Ashlon and the best way to do that is with Seth Williams.

24th overall selection  – Green Bay Packers – Deonte Brown – G – Alabama

What will the Pack do with Rodgers is the better question? But the Packers made it known that they want to be a running team, with that in mind, they get the best guard on the board.
