The Miami Dolphins will have options provided they don’t trade their draft picks for Deshaun Watson.

For the Miami Dolphins, there should be plenty of options with both of their first-round draft picks. The third overall pick makes the most sense to move considering that they could easily fill needs further down the line. If QBs go early, it will push the receivers down the draft boards as well as the defensive players.

Miami could move back as far as 12 and take on more draft capital for this year’s draft and next year’s as well. The question is whether they believe they can get one of the top players on the draft board if they do.

Most of the teams in the top 10 make sense to move back with if there are offers on the table for them to do so. Free agency is going to play a big role in all of this and the trade of Matt Stafford could put teams in a “trade-now” line of thinking.

Miami has to be ready to make a move if the right offer comes along, there should be plenty of interest initially in the 3rd overall pick and Miami may get an offer they like, long before the draft arrives. It will be an interesting couple of months for certain.
