Ranking the Miami Dolphins top-five wide receiver options

Chase could follow Justin Jefferson as the best rookie wideout in his draft class
Minnesota Vikings rookie wideout Justin Jefferson was arguably the best rookie wideout and was even named to the Pro-bowl this season. Jefferson and Chase were teammates at LSU in their 2020 National Championship season. Jefferson was elite, it is quite possible the Chase is the better wideout between the two.
At 6-foot-0 207-pounds, Chase is big and strong. He has the ability to use his size to get open, run past opposing defensive backs, and even run routes with the best of them.
Prior to the start of the college football season, it didn’t seem like any wideout would come close to challenging Chase as the top wideout prospect in the 2021 draft, even after he opted out of the college football season due to COVID-19.
Similar to Jefferson, Chase would come into the team and build his way up into the top wideout, with the possibility that he would become the guy from week 1 of his rookie season.
Both Chase and Smith have elite wideout talent and potential written all over them, if the Dolphins take either it’ll be interesting to see if they go with the Alabama connection or the talent that Chase displayed in his sophomore season.
