Offensive line

This is an annual post that really could have been cut and pasted from the last three years. Miami needs offensive line help and if they trade or release Ja’Wuan James there is another hole to fill.

According to a report/rumor on Sunday the Dolphins want to bring back Sam Young to play right tackle. Young played below average but got better late in the year. Miami has a lot of hope for tackle/guard Jesse Davis as well.

The bigger question is what will Miami do with Mike Pouncey? The Dolphins like but don’t love Pouncey and his contract could be swapped for cap space if they let him go. Creating of course another hole to fill.

The Dolphins should be active in their search for a guard, tackle, and maybe even center regardless of who they release or trade. There are simply too many inconsistencies along that side of the trench.
