The Miami Dolphins are currently projected to land the fourth pick in the draft. Who are some players that they should consider at that spot?

According to Tankathon’s newest draft order, the Miami Dolphins are slated to have the fourth overall pick in the draft. And it introduces some interesting challenges.

For example, Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Burrow will both likely be gone at this point. I think that Chase Young will be the next most likely to be taken before the Dolphins select at four.

So, here are some names I would strongly consider at four. Andrew Thomas from Georgia or Tristan Wirfs from Iowa are two offensive tackles that would be enormous boons for a re-forming offensive line.

Jeffrey Okudah, the cornerback from Ohio State, would help make for an incredible cornerback duo when paired with Xavien Howard, who should be healthy and ready to go next year.

Jerry Jeudy is a little bit lower on my list, but the talent is undeniable. He’d be a massive get for the Miami Dolphins from more of a BPA (best player available) standpoint.

Now, let’s make things interesting. If Tagovailoa or Burrow were one of the apples of the Dolphins eyes, and they’re both gone, then the fourth pick could create trade-down intrigue.

And I’m OK with that, too. If the Miami Dolphins can wheel-and-deal their way into a lower pick, possibly the 8-12 range, I wouldn’t oppose it. It can’t be for pennies on the dollar. That probably goes without saying, though; it has to make sense.

And up to this point, I haven’t even addressed the most significant need of all: quarterback. After Tagovailoa and Burrow, the love for this projected quarterback class is all over the place.

Some people love Justin Herbert, and some fans love Jake Fromm. Others like Jalen Hurts or Jordan Love. And there’s even more; there are hives for Jacob Eason, Anthony Gordon, Shane Buechele, and Nate Stanley.

But for the sake of this article, I will stand pat at pick four and make a selection based on Tagovailoa, Burrow, and Young being gone.

It was a tough choice, and I desperately wanted to take Okudah, but I’m going with Andrew Thomas for now.

And for the fun of it, with the Miami Dolphins draft pick that they received from the Steelers, which is projected to be the 22nd pick, I’m going with Jordan Love.
