5 wideouts who aren’t OBJ but the Dolphins should have on their radar

When you have arguably the best 1-2 punch at wide receiver in the National Football League, that’s certainly good news. Of course, today’s NFL is more than just a pair of productive wideouts. Between numerous offensive sets and combined with the wear and tear of a 17-game regular season (and hopefully the playoffs), depth at this position is more important than ever.

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill enjoyed another All-Pro campaign. He was tied for second in the league with 119 catches and led the NFL in receiving yards (1,799) and touchdown grabs (13). Jaylen Waddle was a somewhat distant second on the club with 72 grabs, good for 1,014 yards and four scores. The duo combined for almost half (191) of the club's 393 receptions. The third-leading wideout in terms of catches was return artist Braxton Berrios (27).

Recently, the team took a glance at wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who was released by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this year. He totaled 35 catches for 565 yards and three scores in 14 regular-season games for John Harbaugh’s club in 2023.

General manager Chris Grier brought back Berrios and River Cracraft, while Cedrick Wilson inked a deal with the Saints. Hence here are five veterans still available in the open market who could make life easier for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

None of these performers are OBJ, but each could prove to be AOK. You will notice a bit of a theme in terms of these choices.
