There was no JT. There was no ZT. There was no Holliday, no Green, no Chambers, Booker, Brown. Hell, there wasn’t even a Cameron. And yet, the Miami Dolphins managed to keep the game within a TD as they lose to NO 7-0.
Head coach Cam Cameron took the night off giving the HC duties to Capers and the OC duties to Mularkey. Capers came up strong with his defense, Mularkey fell again as the OC. Cameron advised his team that he would be in the boxes for the game so that he could concentrate [...]

Phins lose a yawner 7-0
The Miami Dolphins have a problem, well, they have not been in the playoffs for 5 years, so they have more than just one problem. Still, according to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins may only keep 4 WRs’. So the question is, will it be 4 or will it be 5? On Saturday, all teams will need to be at the 53 man roster so in two days time, we will know what that answer is. Will Donnie Spragan find himself unemployed after the signing of Cordova? What is going on with the Chris Chambers [...]
The last "no" before the show
Tonight the Miami Dolphins will take on the New Orleans Saints. It is the last “no, this game means nothing” before the show starts for real a week from tomorrow night.
Still, this game means little. Unless of course your trying to convince Cam Cameron that he should take you over that other guy, or trying to show another team your worth being on their roster. Unlike any of the previous 3 games this year, game 4 is all about the showcase…the personal showcase. And there is nothing wrong with that.
Most NFL teams, including the Dolphins already have a good idea of [...]
Maybe it’s my age, my lack of commitment to learning, but Madden 08 is nice, but it falls pretty short of impressive.
After a 3 year abscense from my rather slim game collection, I finally decided to break down and buy Madden NFL football for my now outdated PS2. I suppose I don’t fit the college kid who can work his fingers really fast to memorize all of the control sequences and options.
What I noticed first was that there was a more fluid motion to the players than I remember which of course was nice. Visually it is close to being [...]
Joe Toledo gets another Pup
Ah, the ongoing saga of Olineman Joe Toledo. The Miami Dolphins added LB/DE Jorge Cordova to the roster officially today and to make room, Joe “I’m always injured” Toledo, was placed on the PUP injury list.
Toledo will now be unavailable until at least week 7 of the season. Toledo is rehabbing from a foot injury he suffered while climbing out of a sauna tub at the Dolphins training facility.
The Dolphins will still need to make 22 roster moves by Saturday.
She is hot, she is sexy, beautiful and yes, I would leave my wife for her. She is the total package, at least since she stopped seeing Tom Brady. Now, after finally giving birth to the Patriot QBs’ baby, there is yet another reason to love…Bridget Moynahan. The initials of her newborn son.
Jonathan Edward Thomas – Moynahan otherwise J.E.T. And with that comes a great big smile. I suppose she is just trying to get back at him, or at least that is what I would like to think, especially when the kid shows up with his initials on a [...]
Phins Sign Jorge Cordova, LB
KFFL is reporting that the Miami Dolphins have agreed to a contract with LB Jorge Cordova according to his agent. Cordova became a free agency after being released by Jacksonville earlier this week.
Cordova is entering his 4th year. The Dolphins will have to release someone off of their roster in order to accommodate the signing.
The Miami Dolphins have a very nice opportunity on their hands. Free Agents. Oline free agents at that. The Fins avoided the high priced FA veterans during March madness and instead focused their money and their acquisitions elsewhere.
With cuts looming for each team by COB today, the Dolphins should start seeing some surprise veterans on the FA block.
Already two names have entered the market of the unemployed footballer. Keydrick Vincent and Rick DeMulling. Both have been long time starters for the Ravens and Colts respectively. Both would be upgrades over the existing problems that the Fins have at the guard [...]
Do you have an Ipod? Do you miss not being able to watch Cam Cameron press conferences or player interviews at your leisure, away from the computer? Now you can.
The Miami Dolphins now have a Podcast service through Itunes…and it is free. All you need to do is follow this link and then follow the instructions to subscribe. Load the downloaded casts onto your Ipod and take them with you. Then simply enjoy watching while your sitting in the car and your wife is shopping in the craft store.
I have had a rather rough weekend, severe sun poisoning has made me feel like a 3 year old in terms of the length of my concentration. I did not bother to predict the 32 cuts that were looming for the week, and instead watched as the first 9 officially got cut. Ony Tim Massaquoi who was reportedly released has yet to be named officially. So feeling better and able to think a tad more clearly…if that is even possible considering my normal state leaves a few questions as well…I will try and predict the final 22 cuts expected before [...]
I found this over on youtube and thought that if any of you had not seen the game or portions of, at least you could see the scoring high-lights. These are some of the high-lights from week 3 pre-season Miami Dolphins vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Joey Porter cleared to practice
Joey Porter was the Miami Dolphins big FA acquisition this past off-season. After knee swelling forced Porter under the scope to clear debris, it was rumored that he may not be available on opening day. He still may not be, but that will be for some other reason.
Today, Porter rejoined his teammates on the practice field and has been . With little under 2 weeks until game 1 at Washington, this is good news for a defense who has shown that they will likely be playing better than last year.
The Miami Dolphins had until COB Tuesday to decide the fate of 10 of their players. They did not bother to wait, according to the sun-sentinel, the fins have “unofficially” cut 10. The Sentinel is goig by the “who’s at practice and who isn’” of the listed 10, only David Sutton is confirmed. The following heads rolled as the cuts were made early.
WR: David Sutton - He was the talk of mini camp, yet when the pads came on, Sutton became non-existant. I was a little surprised that he was cut this early. I thought maybe the next round and [...]
