Rich in tradition and celebrating their 50th season, many players will inevitably be left off the top fifty list. You can help decide who makes it to the top 50. The Dolphins have released information about how those players will be chosen.

"Fans, along with alumni, South Florida media who regularly cover the team and a blue-ribbon panel, will each contribute input in the team’s final composition. Those four groups will vote from a list of 100 players throughout the team’s history compiled by the Dolphins organization. The 100 were selected based on a number of factors, with heavy emphasis on excellence (how well they played), longevity (how long they contributed to the team at a high level) and teamwork (how well they made the players around them better)."

Who are your top 50 players? We all have our favorites for various reasons and it’s safe to say that from fan to fan that list will be different. Here are 50 players completely off the top of my head  based on the criteria above and in keeping with the premise of the voting, they are in no particular order.
