Well there was a slight improvement over the week 2 picks with week 3. This is week 4 and as the first quarter of the season comes to a close this week, I will try to improve on an unimpressive two weeks. 9-7 is not going to win you much in Vegas.
Overall, I am sitting at 27-21. Although it is over .500 it still does not look pretty, not as bad as the Miami Dolphins record though.

Power Rankings Week 4
Here are my NFL Power Rankings heading into week 4.
1: (1) Screw ESPN and the Patriots, until the Super Bowl Champs lose or NE beats them, they stay number 1.
2: (2) So far the Pats have put up 38 points. In each game.
3:(4) Made Chicago finally realize that Rex Grossman is not the answer.
4: (5) O.k. they beat the 49ers, but they really BEAT the 49ers.
5: (3) Dropping quickly. Still they are so much better than their record indicates. If this continues they will drop quite a bit.
6:(8) The Ravens should be [...]
The only question this week is has Daunte Culpepper rehabbed enough to beat the team that cut him a short two months ago? In the words of Amy Whinehouse…NO! NO! NO!
This week the Miami Dolphins play host to the Oakland Raiders. A battle of two teams trying to return to past days of glory that have long since vanished into a pool of mediocrity.
There are 31 NFL teams aside from the Phins, of those 31 only 3 own a better head to head record against Miami, the NY Jets, the Jacksoville Jaguars, and the Oakland Raiders. 18 [...]
Poll Question
A new Poll question about the Miami Dolphins has been added to the right side menu.
The question is what has been most disappointing this season so far?
1: Jason Taylor and the Miami Defense
2: Trent Green and the Miami Offense
3: Ted Ginn and the Special Teams
4: Cam Cameron and the coaching

The Fan-sided family announced today the addition of Bear Goggles, the new Chicago Bear blog. Just in time for new starting QB Brian Griese to get roasted on Mondays if the Bears lose.
The Oakland Raiders will be in town this weekend to face the Miami Dolphins and along with silver and black team comes the silver and black fans. Oakland will pour some of its faithful into the seats at Dolphins Stadium and try to make the field their own, not by quantity but by Halloween style intimidation, it’s the Raider invasion.
Last weekend the Raiders snapped an 11 game losing streak dating back to last year. They did against the Cleveland Browns. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of how good the team is…or isn’t. However, the Raiders are [...]
Mike Gundy is a God. Who the hell cares what his record is, who the hell care cares what this guy does with his life, I want him to coach my son. Mike Gundy Rocks. In a time where coaches upon coaches upon coaches throw blame around like they are tossing water balloons, at a time where a college coach will recruit a player, promise his parents everything, then leave, once in awhile a coach will come along who stands up to the media. On Saturday, that was Mike Gundy.
By now everyone should have seen this [...]
Chris Chambers was facing charges in Charlotte, NC on charges of driving while impaired and reckless driving. Tomorrow it appears that all charges against the Miami Dolphins WR will be dropped by the prosecution according to terms of a plea agreement, his attorney George Laughrun said today.
According to his attorney, Chambers will plead guilty to speeding. He blew an alcohol test of .06 which under NC law is below the legal limit.
The Next Dolfan Man Crush(es)
Just how much optimism can a fan of the Miami Dolphins have after an 0-3 start? How much hope can we hold out while we watch our team implode? A once great defense is falling apart before our very eyes while the offense is the picture of mediocrity.
But I didn’t come here today to bash Cam Cameron. I’m not out to throw more stones at number nine overall pick Ted Ginn, Jr. And it’s not my intention to announce the demise of every player on the defense.
It’s just hard to keep the faith while the team [...]

There are 5 teams who sit atop the NFL with undefeated records. The Green Bay Packers, the New England Patriots, the Dallas Cowboys, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There are 5 teams down below that have yet to gain their first victory. The Buffalo Bills, the New Orleans Saints, the St. Louis Rams, the Atlanta Falcons…And yes, the Miami Dolphins.
Somewhere in between lies a bottle of champagne, chilling, waiting to be uncorked. The countdown to ‘72 preservation has begun. Now you know who else to root against.
Lose a few games and the worst comes out in fans. We are in week 3 of the 2007 season, a season in which realistically was not going to be a very good one. I predicted the team had a chance to go 10-6 and had the Miami Dolphins defense been what it was last year, that may have been a realistic possibility. I am however, not a fool, and I surely am not surprised by the start…disappointed? Yes, Upset? Yes, Surprised? Not one bit.
Around the AFC East
The Miami Dolphins sit at the bottom of the AFC East with the Buffalo Bills. The Jets one game above the two of them, and the NE Patriots walking away with yet another Eastern division title. And I do mean walk.
The Bills – Buffalo is playing is playing worse than the Dolphins are right now, if that is possible. There was much hype surrounding this team as last year, they showed tons of promise and many felt the franchise finally had turned the corner to regain some of its lore. Instead, the Bills have been decimated by injuries and yesterday [...]
