UPDATE: The hearing was moved to this Tuesday. There is a possibility that the hearing could be moved again due to a logistics problem. The hearing is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles.
The long awaited hearing in the case of QB Daunte Culpepper vs. the Miami Dolphins has finally arrived.
Daunte Culpepper will be sitting today in front of an arbitrator pleading his case for release from the Miami Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins will sit across from him, and tell the arbitrator why they think they are not being unfair. The arbitrator will let [...]

The Tampa Bay Bucs were told they were no longer allowed to have “pat-downs” of visitors entering the stadium. A season ticket holder had filed an injunction last year claiming that his “rights” were being violated by the touchy-feely searches.
The Bucs at the time were told to stop all such searches until further notice. Further notice has arrived. The appeals court that the case had been turned over to, has overturned the decision and now, you can have your fanny touched by someone you don’t know, and often times don’t want to know.
According to the Associated Press, “High school teacher [...]
Fred Evans waived
Fred Evans has been waived by the team. The Miami Dolphins on Thursday released the recently arrested Dlineman after an altercation with police officers left him tasered….twice.
This was not unexpected. The Dolphins have not yet released a statement.
Both Fred Evans and the Miami Dolphins should pay close attention and take note of the garbage sentence handed down today in the case of Redmond Burns.
In April of 2006, 25 year old Redmond Burns drove Jason Taylor’s black Infiniti SUV off the road at the intersection of Southwest 130th Avenue and Eighth Street. Burns exited his red pick-up truck, hurled racial remarks at Jason and his wife and then, according to arrest reports, attempted to stab Taylor with a metal object.
Burns was arrested and was charged with a slew of hate related crimes.
Today, the case was settled. [...]

Who says there is a lack of Miami Dolphins news? Here are some quick links to get you up to date on what other Dolphins fans sites are saying around the Web.
The Phinsider is comparing Dan Marino with Brett Favre as Favre is set to break two of Marinos’ records in 2007. TD’s in which he is 6 short and yardage where he is 3800 short. I for one do not, like the rest of you want to see Marinos’ records broken, however, unlike most of you, I’m glad Favre is the guy who could do it. [...]
General Manager Randy Mueller has had his contract extended through what is believed to be the 2009 season. Mueller is currently out of the country and was unavailable for comment and the Miami Dolphins released no statements.
Mueller had the opportunity to join the Tenn. Titans shortly after Cam Cameron was hired, but he chose to stay in Miami where he would actually assume the duties of General Manager. His contract extension was something that was expected.

2007 Predictions: December
This is the final month of the NFL season and according to my recent predictions, the Miami Dolphins are entering December with an optimistic record of 8-3, a realistic record of 7-4, and a worst case record of 6-5.
To do a quick recap I have Miami losing to – NE, Pitt, and Philly, with possible losses to Dallas. In my worst case prediction, I gave one loss to the team for a let down game. Lets get to the final month.
December:
NY Jets vs. Miami
On Defense:
The Dolphins need to play the same way they played the Jets earlier in the year. The [...]
2 Phins honored in Europa
CB Shirdonya Mitchell and DT Kevin Vickerson, two of the Miami Dolphins allocated to NFL Europa have been honored by the league as All-NFL Europe players.
Shirdonya Mitchell was inactive for 15 games last season for the Miami Dolphins and was on the NFI list his rookie year. Mitchell had 31 tackles and 2 INT’s for Frankfurt in 9 starts this year. He returned 1 for a TD.
For the Dolphins, Mitchell will compete for a job as a corner-back. With Andre Goodman nursing his injured and surgically repaired shoulder Travis Daniels would move back into the starter spot with Mitchell competing [...]
Phan Props: These Women Rock!
Time to send out some FAN PROPS.
While surfing the web this morning trying to find any nugget of “Real” Miami Dolphins news, I stumbled across two Miami fans who met in a bar and have since stormed around the NFL. They are…”The 2 Michelles” and these women Rock!
Some of you may know who they are, they are not two girls who woke up yesterday and decided to pretend to like football, no, they are passionate about football, they are passionate about the Dolphins.
How much so? Well, there are male Dolphin fans out there who would not tread in the [...]
Miami Dolphins defensive lineman, Fred Evans was arrested in the morning hours in Southbeach after an altercation with authorities that resulted in what CBS is referring to as multiple felonies.
Evans started 1 game last year for the Dolphins. Evans reportedly forced himself into a cab and after refusing to leave the taxi was tasered twice after a scuffle with the responding police. One officer was bitten on the wrist while the other officer suffered bruises and scrapes to her knee.
Evans has been charged with multiple counts of battery on a police officer, resisting law enforcement with violence, and single counts [...]
